Christmas Eve Magic Key Ornament

An important little key to leave out before bedtime.

For children wondering how Santa will visit a home without a chimney, this magic key makes room for a little Christmas Eve wonder. Hang it by the door after setting out the cookies, ready for Santa to let himself in and deliver his gifts.

The double-sided wooden ornament pairs an old-fashioned Santa portrait with a reassuring bedtime verse. Reproduced from artwork originally painted on burlap canvas, the design carries a softly textured appearance that feels at home among traditional Christmas decorations.

At a Glance
• 3" × 6" double-sided wooden ornament
• Attached decorative key and red ribbon hanging loop
• Santa artwork on the front and this poem on the back:
“This key is very special you see... it won’t work for you or me. Hang it just outside your door, go to bed and worry no more. Close your eyes and close them tight ’cause Santa Claus is coming tonight!”

Care & Use
Hang securely by the attached loop • Display indoors or in a sheltered location protected from moisture • Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth • Decorative item, not a toy or working door key

What Makes It Special
The verse speaks directly to the child waiting for Santa, making the ornament part of the bedtime story rather than simply another decoration. Pair it with Haven’s Santa’s On His Way Countdown Blocks for a tradition that ends with leaving the key ready on Christmas Eve.
